Jean-Claude Juncker’s announcement on Friday that he would speak French to a Florence conference because “slowly but surely English is losing importance in Europe” got all the EU’s political sheeple laughing. A good joke I’m thinking and true.
Still we’re leaving, his world is collapsing, and the last laugh will be ours.
It hasn’t stopped the UK press (including the Times) from getting even more stupid than he is and having a rave. Only you’ve got to ask yourself why.
Personally I don’t give a flying fk’ what he says.
His tenure is looking increasingly vulnerable and his loose mouth will help drive us into a hard Brexit more effectively that 1000 Merkel’s would.
Anyway here’s two definitions of a prat as his command of the English language has always been weak. It’s a noun, used informally, British Origins.
It means a incompetent or stupid person; an idiot.
No argument there.
In French they use the term “imbécile”.
Yep, that sums him up too.
