Sleep me not

I fell again to the smack in the back
When I couldn’t catch my breath.

I remembered the smell of that dampened turf
And the buzzing in my head.

My shaking rolling awoke me again
So out of the bed I went

To sit alone in a comfy chair
While emotion poured through my head.
