Londoners returning to work on Monday were met with the massive barriers on the capital’s main bridges, which were erected as a security initiative to prevent another attack. But today a report has revealed the former London Mayor Boris Johnson removed previous blockades in 2010 as part of his program to make the capital “more attractive”. Although he will probably cite making the city safer for his “bicycling chums”.
Shame about that stupidity making life
easier for terrorists to kill innocents.
I wonder if “attractive” will stop the multiple law suits which are bound to follow this disclosure. After all ‘no barriers’ opened up the bridge sidewalks to vehicular terrorism.
