The “decision has already been made” to release radioactive material from the Fukushima plant into the ocean, according to its owners. Fishermen have reacted with fury to the decision, claiming it will devastate their already struggling industry. Under the plan the radioactive material tritium, which is being used to cool reactors whose cooling systems were damaged in the 2011 tsunami, will be released into the Pacific Ocean.
So how fast does material released into the oceans take to reach America?
In 2013 it was estimated that radioactive material would take 3 years to reach the West coast of America. The original accident happened in 2011, with this new dose of radioactive material, the US will be glowing really well by 2020.
I’ve also got a question to ask.
Why isn’t America helping to sort this mess out to save themselves?
Here’s another thought for you.
If Russia had done this, WW3 would have been declared by now.
Interesting isn’t it?
